BEAR PRIDE

The North Valley Golden Bears Football and Cheerleading program has been a division of the North Valley Club since 1969, which is a non-profit corporation with four divisions of youth sports: Football, Cheerleading, Track & Field, and Cross Country. The goal of the Golden Bears is simple: To provide the youth in the North Valley area an opportunity to learn and participate in a viable sports area. The North Valley Golden Bears intend to promote a healthy environment for the youth of our community. This achieved by teaching the youth about the fundamentals and rules of the sport, sportsmanship, the love of the game as well as how to take a few knocks and bumps. As part of the Gold Coast Youth Football League, we engage in friendly competition with self-supporting clubs such as ours.
The Golden Bears provide competition in tackle football for youth ages 6-14 (placement will be according to your athlete’s age as of 8/1/23, Cheerleaders are ages 6-14 with mascots ages 4-5
